RAJASTHAN SOCIAL INCLUSION PROJECT
The Rajasthan Social Inclusion Project has been operated by the Urmul Seemant Samiti in Bajju and Kolayat block of Bikaner district with support from other stakeholders. The programme operated with a key purpose to connect differently abled people with livelihood opportunities making them self-sufficient for empowerment of the Disabled Rights Forum and preparation and installation of suitable environment for the disabled in the area. During the programme interventions, the differently abled people were linked to livelihood opportunities by training them for general stores, grocery stores, sewing work, animal husbandry work etc. All the project focused individuals are employed today and generating income.
